A: The race takes place inside Gleannloch Farms subdivision.
Q: What time does the Gleannloch Walk/Run start?
A: START TIMES (estimated):
5k/10k – 7:30am Kids 1 Mile Fun Run – Immediately after race finishes at the athletic fields
Q: Where are the Start and Finish located?
A: Start - Gleannloch Athletic Field, Gleannbury Pointe Drive
Finish - Gleannloch Athletic Field, Gleannbury Pointe Drive
Q: Can I run with a baby jogger, skateboard, bike or dog?
A: Baby joggers are allowed. Skateboards, bikes or pets are not allowed in consideration for the safety of all participants; Skateboards, bikes and animals are prohibited on the course.
Q: Can I run with headphones?
A: Headphones are not prohibited but discouraged. Participants who wear headphones must remain aware of race officials, traffic and other runners. Any participant who fails to follow directions from race officials is subject to being removed from the racecourse, for their own safety and the safety of other participants.
Q: What is the time limit for the Gleannloch Farms Walk/Run?
A: All streets must be reopened to traffic by 12:30 PM, and all participants must be able to cross the Finish Line by 11:30 AM to be recorded as an official finisher (with time and place).
Q: Do I need a qualifying time to participate?
A: No, there is no qualifying time to participate in the Gleannloch Farms Walk/Run.

A: No, you do not have to join a charity group to participate in the Gleannloch Walk/Run.
Q: Will there be a pace team?
Q: How many water stations will you have?
A: There will be Water Stations along the course, starting at Mile 1 and approximately every 1.5 after that with plenty of water.
Q: What do I do if I injure myself on the course?
A: There will be ambulances and bike EMS teams providing medical support along the course
Q: Will there be food at the finish line?
A: Yes, there will be food at the finish line provided by several volunteer organizations as fundraising efforts.
Q: Is the course closed to traffic?
A: No, however, lanes will be coned off throughout the race for runners’ safety. Traffic officers will be positioned to direct traffic at two major intersections.
Q: What is the age limit for the Gleannloch Farms Walk/Run?
A: No age limit. (1Mile Fun Run for children 8 and under at athletic fields)

A: Online registration is set to close May 15, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST. We will continue to accept registrations in person up to race day by cash/check payments, but there is no guarantee of race event t-shirt.

A: There are no refunds. All proceeds to benefit the community elementary schools.
Q: Can I register on the day of the event?
A: Yes, 5:30 - 7:00 am at Gleannloch Farms Athletic Fields, $45 fee cash or check only - no guarantee to receive event shirt.
Q: Where can I find race results after the race?
A: Results of can be found at the Finish area on race day. Results will also be posted online at www.Gleannloch5k.com after the race.
